Just 550 metres from Windermere Railway Station, in the town centre, the Hideaway at Windermere provides modern bed and breakfast accommodation with stylish rooms and great service. This guest house is exclusively for adults and completely non-smoking.

In the mornings, full English breakfast is available and is cooked to order. Complimentary tea and cakes are also served in the afternoons.

The Hideaway is a 10-minute walk from the village of centre of Windermere and a 30-minute stroll from Bowness. Ambleside is just 10 minutes drive away and Kendal is a 15-minute drive from the property.

The hotel day starts from hour 12:00 and ends at 11:00.

Check-in is strictly from 15:00 to 19:00. The Hideaway At Windermere requests thatguests provide an expected arrival time at the time of booking.

Arrivals after 19:00 will be treated as a no-show and will be charged in full, as per cancellation policy.

Please note that The Hideaway has a strict non-smoking policy. Guests will be asked to vacate the room immediately if evidence of smoking is found, and a minimum charge of GBP 200.00 will be applied to the creditdebit card used to make the reservation, to coveradditional cleaning and dry cleaning costs.

Bookings for 3 rooms or more cannot be accepted.

Mini Double Room. This double room is located on the first floor, and features a double bed with Egyptian cotton linen. The room offers a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, and an en suite bathroom with bathrobes. ;
Small Double Room. This small and cosy room is on the first floor. It has a double bed and en-suite shower room. ;
Classic Double Room. This room is located on the first floor and offers garden views. The king-size bed features a Hypnos mattress and the en-suite bathroom has a shower. ;
Large King or Twin Room. This room has modern decor with a super king-size bed and small sofa. Request KingTwin when booking. ;
Deluxe Double Room. Located on the second floor, this room has sloping ceilings to the eaves of the house. It features a king-size bed, a sofa, flat-screen TV and bathroom with a bath tub and shower. Kindly note this room is accessible via stairs only. Therefore it may not be suitable for guests with mobility impairment. ;
Executive Double Room. This split-level room has a spiral staircase to the bathroom with roll-top bath and separate shower. The room includes a king-size bed with Tempur mattress and a flat-screen TV. ;
